Jimmy & Robyn

Owners

With numerous years of experience under his belt, Jimmy and wife Robyn took over the Royal Hotel in 2011. 

​

Interesting fact: Jimmy once worked as a double decker bus driver in London, UK.

Angelo & Ira

Owners

Angelo and Ira operate a consultancy business in Sydney and since taking over ownership of The Royal in 2011, they've been making frequent trips down to Adelong.

"Gus"
Head Chef &Hotel Manager

Formally of "Creed's Restaurant", Justin "Gus" comes to the Royal Hotel with several years experience in hospitality operations. Our award winning chef has owned and operated restaurants around NSW and brings with him great knowledge and a cracker menu.

Ally
Duty Manager & Functions
 

Ally came to the Royal Hotel in 2011 having previously supervised the café at the National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra.  She has several years restaurant experience in Australia, Europe and Africa.

​

She is currently completing the last year in a Bachelor of Business but works part time at the Royal Hotel.  

Di
All Rounder

With many years in pub kitchens and hotels, Di brings great assistance to "Gus" in the kitchen, always with a smile and a wicked sense of humour.

Self taught, she has a few specialty home-style dishes of her own which are sure to whet the palate.

Outside of the kitchen she enjoys breeding and showing her prize winning  chooks and is an avid horticulturalist.

 

 
Lauren
Bar & Restaurant

"Bundy" Lauren has been working in far north Queensland as a contract musterer for the past year and has now moved south to complete a degree in Vet Science at Charles Sturt in Wagga.

 

Bundy has 2 horses and 1 little dawg

Fiona

Bar & Restaurant

Fiona "Fee" is a born and bred local who still lives in town. She is a qualified accountant but comes down to the Royal on Friday nights to help out and have a chat.
